Forty-four years is not a marketing claim. It is a photograph.
That is the building. Zaria, Kaduna State, in the mid-eighties — mango trees, breeze blocks still stacked against the wall, and a hand-painted sign reading Limi Hospital & Maternity.
How it started
Limi Hospital opened in Zaria, Kaduna State, in 1982, founded by the late Dr. Lee Moses Iseko, born 10 October 1951. It was built to provide accessible quality private healthcare driven by clearly defined core values, evidence-based medicine and Godly principles.
That sentence is not a recent rewrite. It is the founding statement, and it is still the one printed in the group's brand guidelines today. Each year the hospital marks Founder's Day around his birthday in October, the street the Abuja hospital now stands on carries his name.
What changed, and what didn't
The hospital moved to Abuja. One building became three. A maternity practice became a multispecialty group with its own children's hospital and its own cardiovascular centre. Records went from paper to electronic.
What did not change is the reason any of it exists. The work is still families — people who came here to have a baby in the eighties, and whose children now bring their own children. A hospital that has been in one family's life for three generations is doing something that cannot be bought with capital.

The group today
Three hospitals, one set of records, one standard.
- Limi Multispecialty Hospital: family medicine, women's health and maternity, surgery, diagnostics, and 24-hour emergency care. This site.
- Limi Children's Hospital: newborn, neonatal, paediatric, surgical and developmental care for children.
- CardioCare Multispecialty Hospital: cardiovascular diagnosis, catheterisation, intervention, surgery and rehabilitation.
The point of a group is not the number of buildings. It is that when a pregnancy becomes a newborn who needs intensive care, or a routine check finds something cardiac, you move between them on the same record rather than starting again with a stranger.

A year-long celebration, and a commemorative walk from the Central Area hospital on 26 February 2022, which became the monthly Abuja Health Walk.
